Hi,
I have a professional background, degree in applied scienes and a masters in business. I work for myself in business and enjoy working and travelling internationally as part of that, having worked extensively in an international perspective in the past.
I have both a (mainly) reserved side and a fun side and some of my friend would describe me as someone who they consider a supportive friend, good company, sociable, charming, pragmatic, down to earth (not too much) and attentive, considerate and caring of others. I love good humour, learning and experiencing new things and I make a good dance partner.
I was privately schooled but do not come across in with public school snobbery in any way and can switch between accents a little although not professionally (having already been trained in received prononciation to remove my Scottish accent long ago and exposed to other accents over the years!).
I am a natural brunette with red highlighlights making my hair fairly red in the summer. It is naturally curly and sits below shoulder length but I often straighten it for business and social purposes (styles can be varied accordingly). My eyes are brown (from the Italian side of the family). I have a wardrobe with business suits, evening dress (cocktail, long), summer dresses, and casual/outdoor.
A lot of my work is people oriented and I am able to 'role play' very well. I have good sales experience also but am no hard sales person... working more from a commercial partnership and client relationship perspective. I am a good networker. As such I can help to build relationships if needed, but am also able to keep quiet and observe.
I have some reasonable but rusty language skills in French, Italian, Japanese, Danish and Norwegian... at varying levels and currently stronger in written than spoken form.
I'm as comfortable both at major functions and black tie events as I am in smaller surroundings and outdoor activities.
I look and very much seem way younger than my passport data or photos would lead you to believe and therefore have been able to friend people at all age groups, through maturity/experience yet healthy outlook and spirit.
I was educated and based in London for some years and am based between the south west and south east and used to travelling within the UK and overseas.
